Column: OU can still salvage its season, even if it already seems lost
The Sooners' perfect record met its end at McLane Stadium on Saturday.

Perhaps karma had enough of Oklahoma’s winning ways in Waco, Texas.
The Sooners won a thriller over Baylor in 2015, cheated death against an inferior Bears squad in 2017 and rallied from a 28-3 deficit to beat Baylor in 2019 en route to the College Football Playoff, just as they did in ‘15 and ‘17.
OU’s presumed final trip to McLane Stadium might have helped a few Baylor fans get some closure as they chanted “S-E-C!” to mock the visitors on Saturday, which saw Baylor knock off Oklahoma 27-14.
The Sooners’ time in the Big 12, however, isn’t done yet and Saturday’s performance signaled OU’s exit might not be as smooth for the kings of the conference as it expected.
