🔥 Oklahomefield is here
The long night is over. The sun is out. And Homefield Apparel finally has Oklahoma merch.
Homefield, a premium collegiate apparel brand based out of Indianapolis, launched its Sooners collection today as part of its Big New Saturday campaign.
The collection ranges from shirts, hoodies and crewnecks, featuring thoughtful vintage designs born from countless hours of research by Homefield’s design team to find as many unique logos, mascots and moments throughout the school’s history.
As the son of a Billy Ball era diehard, my personal favorite is Homefield’s Top Daug shirt, which they were kind enough to send to me.
.There’s other great designs, all of which are printed on high quality garments with extreme comfort in mind, that give major Bud Wilkinson era vibes, as well as a vintage OU men’s golf shirt that might be one of the best shirts they’ve ever put out.
Eyes on Oklahoma has partnered with Homefield for Saturday’s launch.
New customers can get 15% off their first purchase from Homefield with code EYESONOKLAHOMA at checkout at HomefieldApparel.com.
Enjoy and happy Homefield Day.
🔒 Going Green
Oklahoma football is red hot on the recruiting trail, picking up a commitment from four-star offensive tackle Cayden Green, who is one of the top-100 prospects, regardless of position, in the Class of 2023, on Friday.
Green joins fellow four-star Jaquaize Pettaway, one of the top receiver prospects in the class, and three-star linebacker Phil Picciotti in committing to OU over the past week.
And the Sooners are far from done…
OU could pick up another two commitments by the end of weekend with three-star offensive lineman Logan Howland getting ready to announce his decision at 5 p.m. tonight. Four-star edge Adepoju Adebawore is also planning to make his choice public on Sunday.
The Sooners currently rank No. 18 in the 247Sports team recruiting rankings. I would not expect them to stay there long.
🥎 Gasso reloads
Oklahoma softball coach Patty Gasso ain’t messing around this offseason.
The Sooners added another big-time transfer, landing the commitment of Arizona State's Cydney Sanders.
Sanders is coming off of a stellar freshman campaign for the Sun Devils, earning Pac 12 Freshman of the Year and first-team All-America honors. She finished the 2022 season with a .425 batting average and 21 home runs.
Sanders is likely to compete for the vacant starting job at first base.
